One Person Killed in San Joaquin County Crash on Interstate 205 Wednesday Morning

San Joaquin County, California – Following a San Joaquin County accident that happened on northbound Interstate 205 near Tracy on Wednesday morning, one person was killed.

Shortly before 6 am, the accident occurred when a vehicle attempted to travel right into the lanes clipped with a big rig, according to the CHP.

Due to the impact, the vehicle was pushed over the guardrail and fell down 30 feet. The vehicle landed at a scaffolding site on northbound Interstate 5.

The driver of the vehicle died in the accident however no other injuries were reported.

For the authorities to investigate the matter, several lanes were blocked following the accident.

The accident remains under investigation to find the cause.
